Gardaí are investigating a shooting in Co Donegal in which a man suffered minor injuries.

A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital after he was shot in the body at Churchill in Millford at half ten this morning.

He has since been transferred to Galway University Hospital, where his injures are described as not life-threatening.

A number of people have been interviewed by gardaí, but no arrests have been made.
