An investigation is underway following the death of a man who had earlier been arrested in Co. Kildare.
The man (23) was taken into custody in Maynooth yesterday and brought to Leixlip garda station, where an ambulance was called.

He was taken to James Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where he died later in the afternoon.
Garda Síochána Omdudsman Commission is investigating. Spokesperson Lorna Lee says the victim cannot be identified because not all of his family members have been informed:
