Hundreds of Gardaí are on alert in north Dublin today - as a rally takes place marking the first anniversary of the murder of Real IRA leader Alan Ryan.
The march began at the Ryan home in Donaghmede and will finish at Balgriffin Cemetery where Ryan is buried.
A paramilitary display, including a gun salute happened at the dissident's funeral and today the Garda riot squad are on stand-by in case of a repeat.
