Gardaí are questioning a man arrested in Galway yesterday after a major drugs seizure.

Cocaine, ecstasy tablets, MDMA powder and herbal cannabis worth €35,000 was found at a city centre premises Thursday afternoon.

A man (32) was was taken into custody at scene.

The seizure came as part of a joint operation involving gardaí and officers from The Revenue Commissioners.

The man is being held at Galway garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
