Gardaí are appealing to people in the Finglas area of Dublin to check their properties for any sightings of Thomas Kennedy, who has been missing since last month.

The 81-year-old was last seen in the Virginia Park area of Finglas at approximately 9pm on Tuesday the 29th of July.

He is described as approximately 5 ft 4” in height, of slim build and with short grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a black rain jacket with a hood, short sleeved white and blue polo shirt, dark chino style trousers and black shoes with a velcro fastener and no laces.

Gardaí say they are concerned for his welfare and are appealing to people in the Finglas area to search their gardens, sheds and outhouses.
