The Garda water unit is to join the search for a man missing in a Tipperary quarry this morning.
The 60-year-old hasn't been seen since he went for a swim at the slate quarry in Ahenny, near Carrick-on-Suir, yesterday evening.

It's the latest in a recent spate of incidents on Irish waterways.
Yesterday, a 24-year-old man drowned at Ardara in Co Donegal - the 9th drowning since the heatwave began.

Meanwhile, a 32 year old woman was taken to hospital around 4 o'clock, after being rescued from the River Nore in Kilkenny City.
