Gardai in Dublin are looking for the help of the public in tracing the whereabouts of a missing man (53).

Thomas Moffett was last seen by a neighbour at his home on Esker Lane in Lucan over the weekend of the 29th and 30th of March.

He is described as being 5-foot-10 inches in height of slim build, with short grey hair and wears glasses.

There is a report of a possible sighting of Thomas in the Strawberry Beds also at the weekend walking towards the city.

It is not clear what he was wearing at the time.
