Gardaí in Dublin have seized cannabis worth more than €500,000.

The drugs were found during a planned search of a house in the Sundrive Road area of south inner city Dublin yesterday evening. 

Cannabis herb worth an estimated €570,000 was found, along with other items associated with the supply of drugs.

The search was carried out by gardaí from Kevin St drug unit and local officers.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in that part of the city, that led to the discovery, is ongoing.
