Gardaí are renewing their appeal for information after an elderly woman was killed in a road collision in Dublin earlier this month.
75-year-old Tressa McKeran was seriously injured after she was struck by a motorcycle on Ballinteer Avenue at around 7:45pm on April 8th.
She was taken to St James’s Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital where she passed away on April 13th.
Gardaí said they believe she was attempting to cross the road after getting off a bus when she was hit.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was treated for minor injuries at St Vincent’s Hospital.
This afternoon, investigators renewed their appeal for information and said they are “particularly anxious” to speak to the driver of a silver BMW who stopped at the scene.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Dundrum Garda Station.
