Gardai are continuing to investigate an aggravated burglary at a family home in north County Dublin in the early hours of Friday morning.
A number of men forced their way into the house in Balrothery at around half past three.
A man, woman and young child were in the premises at the time.
The male occupant of the house was tied up during the incident. The raiders made off with a quantity of cash.
The owner of the house received minor injuries and was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for treatment. He was later released.
A car - which was also taken from the scene - was later found burnt out.
