The Garda Ombudsman is appealing for witnesses after a man died in Palmerstown in Dublin last week.
GSOC investigators are interested in talking to anyone who witnessed anything in the area at the time – including anything that involved Gardaí.
The man died on the Old Lucan Road, close to the Aldi and Palmerstown Veterinary Hospital, between 11pm on Thursday, October 12th and 12.30am on Friday 13th.
GSOC is now investigating the incident.
The case was referred to GSOC by Gardaí in the early hours of Friday morning under section 102(1) of the Garda Síochána Act, 2005.
GSOC is interested in talking to anyone who witnessed anything in the area around that time - including anything that involved Gardaí.
Investigators are particularly interested in talking to anyone who was in the area an may have video footage.
