Gardai are this morning continuing to appeal for witnesses in connection with the murder of a man in Co. Wicklow.

Remains of a man were discovered yesterday morning in Trooperstown Wood in Rathdrum following a planned search by gardai investigating the disappearance of Bray man Philip O'Toole.

The body has yet to be formally identified - but officers say they have informed Philip's family.

Gardai say they are aware that 33-year-old knew there was a threat against his life.
