Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a car was hijacked in Naas in Co. Kildare yesterday.
A person, driving a black Range Rover 4 X 4 was stopped by three raiders – armed with a gun – at Eadestown at around 6pm and the driver was order to get out of the car.
The thieves then drove towards Rathmore – and the vehicle was later recovered by Gardaí at Abbeywood Court, in Lucan, Co. Dublin.
Prior to this hijacking, a red VW Golf – registration 08-LS , was stolen at around 4 p.m. from the G.A.A. grounds in Durrow, in Co. Laois.
The raiders used this car to travel to Eadestown and Gardaí believe this car may have been involved in a robbery at Graney West, Castledermot, Co. Kildare between 5 and 5.30 p.m. yesterday evening.
