Gardaí investigating the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe a week ago have renewed their appeal for information.
The 41-year-old father of two was shot dead outside the Lordship Credit Union, Jenkinstown in Co.Louth last Friday night.
Gardai are looking to speak to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the vicinity of the credit union on the 25th and in the preceding days.
Investigation continuing
It is reported a 16-year-old girl was the driver of the getaway car used by the killers.
The garda operation is continuing to focus on a cross-border criminal gang made up of teenagers and men in their early 20s.
Gardai are to mount checkpoints at the scene of the murder this evening.
Some 4,000 people - including 2,500 Gardai - attended the State funeral in Dundalk on Wednesday.
