A woman missing from the Drogheda area has been found safe and well.

47-year-old Agnes Smith had last been seen yesterday.

Gardaí issued an appeal for information, saying they were very concerned for Agnes.

However, they confirmed this afternoon that she's been found safe and well.

They've thanked the public for their help.
