Gardai say the skeletal remains found in Dublin may belong to a woman who went missing over the past two years.
Efforts are continuing to identify the remains of the woman who is believed to be aged between 25 and 40. The remains were discovered by a walker on Kilakee Mountain on Friday.
It is also understood that officers are trying to determine if the remains belong to one of 19 missing women.

According to the Irish Times, gardai have contacted the families of a small number of women who went missing in the last two to three years. The Deputy State Pathologist and a forensic anthropologist attended the scene over the weekend.
It is hoped that the results of DNA samples which have been sent for testing will be known by the end of the week. It is believed dental records are also being checked.
