Gardai are carrying out door to door inquiries after the latest shooting in Dublin.

A man in his 50s, who was not known to Gardai, was shot after he answered his door at Rowlagh Park in Clondalkin at around 6.40pm yesterday evening. 

He was rushed to Tallaght Hospital where he is said to be in a critical condition this afternoon.
