Gardaí have uncovered a semi-automatic firearm in west Dublin.
Investigators said they found the gun after launching an intelligence-led operation targeting organised crime in south Dublin.
Two men aged 17 and 28-years-old were arrested after the gun was found.

They are being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
This evening Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll said: “For the purpose of tackling crime, An Garda Siochana is determined to remove firearms that have the capacity to kill from our streets and to identify those who we suspect are willing to use them.”
