Gardaí have seized drugs worth nearly €300,000 in Dublin.
The drugs were found following searches at a house in the Ballyfermot area last night.
The search, carried out by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, uncovered heroin worth around €280,000 and cocaine with an estimated value of €12,000.
A 48-year-old man was arrested and is currently being held at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll of Special Crime Operations said: "An Garda Síochána is committed to disrupting the activities of organised criminals supplying drugs to our communities.”
“This seizure of a substantial quantity of heroin and cocaine is significant in disrupting this supply,” he said.
