Gardaí in Kildare are investigating the discovery of nearly half a million euro worth of cannabis plants.

The drugs worth €400,000 were seized yesterday. It is part of an on-going investigation when officers carried out a search of a house at Ballyboeen in Kilcock.

No arrests were made during the course of the search and investigations are on-going.
