Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 23 year old man whose body was discovered at Northern Cross, on the Malahide Road at approximately 11.20pm last night.

Gardaí were called to the scene - where it's believed the man received a number of stab wounds.
 
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.

The scene has been sealed off pending a full technical examination by the Garda Technical Bureau and the office of the State Pathologist has also been notified.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
