Gardai are investigating two fatal shootings in Counties Dublin and Kildare.
In Dublin Gardai have arrested a man after another man was shot dead in Dublin yesterday.
A 35 year old male was dropped off at St James' Hospital with gunshot wounds at around 7pm yesterday evening - he died shortly afterwards from his injuries.
Gardai say it's not known where the shooting occurred, but the car used to take the man to hospital has been located on Cork Street.
A man in his late 20s was arrested this morning and is being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station.
Meanwhile, Gardaí in Naas are investigating a shooting incident which happened before 6 o'clock this morning at a house in Kilmeage, Naas Co Kildare.
A 33 year old man was taken to Naas General Hospital with serious gunshot injuries - the man was later pronounced dead.
The house has been sealed off and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
No arrests have been made and gardai are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
