Gardaí investigating the death of Seamus Doherty in Donegal more than two years ago have made two arrests.

Mr Doherty's body was discovered at his home in Drumacanoo, Churchill on the morning of June 17th, 2012.

Yesterday evening, a 57-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Letterkenny Garda Station.

While this afternoon, a 51-year-old man was also arrested.

Both are being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
