Gardaí are investigating after a man was found dead in Drogheda last night.

The body of the man in his 30s was discovered in the Greenhills area of the town at around 9pm last night.

The scene has been sealed off for a forensic investigation and both the State Pathologist and local Coroner have been notified.

Gardaí say they are investigating all the circumstances surrounding his death.

The results of a postmortem will determine the course of their investigation.
