A woman has been arrested by gardaí investigating a dog attack on a child in Wexford just over a week ago.
Nine-year-old Alejandro Miszan was left with life-altering injuries after he was attacked by the dog On Sunday, November 27th.
He was airlifted to Crumlin’s Children’s Hospital where he underwent surgery for severe facial injuries.
His family later told Newstalk that he had been left unrecognisable by the attack.
This morning, gardaí investigating all the circumstances surrounding the incident arrested a woman in her 30s.
She is currently detained at Enniscorthy Garda Station, where she can be held for a maximum of 24 hours.
