Gardaí investigating a fatal hit and run incident in Dublin are anxious to speak to two women, who took a lift in the car, believed to have been involved in the incident. 

A man in his late 40s was killed when he was struck by a car on North Street in Swords in the early hours of yesterday morning. 

Officers have arrested a 29 year old man in connection with the incident. 

They now want to speak to two women who were seen getting into a dark coloured Volkswagen Golf car in the Swords area, between 12.30 and 3.30 yesterday morning, to contact Swords Garda Station.
