An investigation has been launched into an incident in Ashtown, Co Dublin, after an Aldi staff member was threatened at knife point. 

Gardaí were alerted to the altercation shortly after 9pm last night, November 24th. 

It is understood a staff member was threatened at knife point by a person, who then left the premises empty-handed. 

Gardaí said no one was harmed in the incident and no arrests were made. 

Investigations are ongoing.
