A post mortem has been completed on a body recovered from the water at Slieve League in Co Donegal.
Gardaí say they are continuing to investigate "all the circumstances" of an alleged assault reported to have occurred in area between Saturday, June 24th and Sunday June 25th.
A body was recovered from the water on Monday morning.
Gardaí say the results of the post mortem are not being released "for operational purposes."
They have been treating the investigation as a potential murder case.
An incident room has been established at Ballyshannon Garda station as officers continue to appeal for information.
They are appealing to any persons travelling in the vicinity of Slieve League/Killybegs between the afternoon of Saturday June June 24th and the evening of Sunday June 25th, who observed any activity which drew their attention, to come forward.
Any road users travelling in these areas at this time, and who may have camera footage, are asked to make this available to Gardaí.
