A large amount of stolen jewellery and other property has been recovered by gardaí targeting criminal gangs involved in burglaries.

The property was recovered as part of Operation Fiacla last month.

Gardaí are anxious to return the items to their rightful owners.

Some of the items have already been identified by gadaí, following a trawl through the stolen property records on the Pulse system.

Anyone who feels their property may be among the recovered items should contact their local garda station.
