Gardai in Dundalk have upgraded their investigation into the death of a woman to murder.
A post mortem was carried out yesterday on the body of 34-year-old Jacqueline McDonagh.
The mother of 3 was found dead in her rented house in College Manor in Dundalk at around 3am on Wednesday morning.
It is believed she had been beaten to death.
No arrests have yet been made.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
