Gardaí have launched a murder investigation following the death of Mark Carroll in west Dublin this weekend.
34-year-old Mark Carroll was found with serious injuries in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It is understood he was stabbed at a house in the Scribblestown area in Finglas.
He was later pronounced dead at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
A postmortem has been completed but Gardaí say the results are not being released for operational reasons.
An Incident Room has been set up at Finglas Garda station.
No arrests have been made.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly those who were in the Scribblestown area between midnight and 1am on June 9th.
They are also seeking people with video recordings, including dashcam footage, to come forward.
