Limerick gardai investigating the death of a man back in 2009 have made an arrest. James Mulqueen (92) was found dead at his home in Ballymakery, Kilcolman five years ago.

A man aged in his 50s was arrested this morning in connection with the incident.

He is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Henry Street garda station in Limerick.

Mr. Mulqueen was found at his home by gardai on October 23rd 2009. This is the first arrest in relation to his death.
