Three men remain in Garda custody this morning following seizures of drugs and firearms in Dublin and Carlow.
The men were arrested as part of operations in West Dublin and Graiguecullen yesterday.
At about 11 o'clock yesterday morning Gardaí conducted a planned search of a property in Graiguecullen in Carlow.
They uncovered Pentedrone with an estimated value of 20,000 euro and a gun and ammunition.
A 49-year-old man was arrested at scene and is currently detained at Carlow Garda Station.
Meanwhile, in a separate operation in West Dublin Gardaí have seized 500 thousand euro worth of cocaine.
The discovery was made during the search of a vehicle in Ballyfermot yesterday afternoon - and a follow up search of a premises in the Dublin 20 area was carried out
Two men - aged 34 and 55 - were arrested in connection with the find and are currently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
