Gardai have refused to volunteer for overtime at a football match in Croke Park in Dublin this evening.
It is the first major disruption to public policing as part of their protest against pay cuts.
The move will have a knock on effect across Dublin as foot patrols will have to be reduced to allow gardai to police the stadium.
