Searches are underway for two missing teenage boys from the Midlands and West.

19 year old Mark Casey from Killeigh  in Tullamore hasn't been seen since the early hours of Friday morning, when he was spotted on Robert Street in Limerick City.

Gardaí are now appealing to the public for their help in finding him.

Mark is around 5 foot 7, of slim build, and has short, brown-fair hair.

When last seen he was wearing a short sleeved navy polo top with a grey collar and grey shoulders, light blue chino's and dark navy shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Henry Street Garda Station.

Meanwhile in Galway, a search and rescue operation is underway after an 18 year old man was seen entering the River Corrib at around 11:30 last night.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardai.
