Gardaí are looking to speak to witnesses after a fire at a home in County Cork on Friday.

The criminal damage incident happened in the Fortlands area of Charleville on Friday at around 8.30pm.

Nobody was in the building at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.

The scene was preserved to allow for a Garda technical exam.

Gardaí are also investigating an incident of criminal damage to a car that happened in the Rathgoggin area of Charleville later that evening, at around 9.55pm.

Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact Gardaí.

They are also appealing for information in relation to an Audi A6, a white Skoda Rapid, a BMW, and a silver Ford Focus car, travelling in the Charleville area between 5pm and 11pm on Friday.
