Six people have been arrested in connection with the seizure of €750,000 worth of cannabis plants.

The plants were seized this morning following searches in counties Waterford, Wexford, Carlow and Kildare.

€60,000 in cash was also seized.

The suspects, five men and a woman aged in their 20s and 30s, are being held at Newbridge, Carlow, Enniscorthy and Waterford Garda Stations.
