Gardaí have seized cannabis worth €18,000 at a house in Wexford.

Gardaí said they carried out searches at the house in Enniscorthy as part of an ongoing investigation targeting organised crime.

Around 900 grams of herbal cannabis were seized by customs officers during the search.

Gardaí said the cannabis has an estimated value of €18,000.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being held at Enniscorthy Garda Station.

The investigation is ongoing.
