A man is due to appear in court this morning  in connection with a seizure of cocaine and illegal tablets in Dublin yesterday.

83,000 euro worth of the drugs were discovered during planned searches in Ballymun.

A number of vehicles were also seized.

Meanwhile, two men have been arrested following separate drugs seizure in county Kildare.

Around 90,000 euros worth of cocaine, cannabis herb and ecstasy tablets were discovered when gardai from the Kildare drugs unit and the regional support team searched a house at Bishopsland, yesterday evening.

A 25-year-old is being held at Newbridge Garda Station.

Also in Kildare, gardai discovered approximately 10,000 euro’s worth of cannabis herb at a house at Bell Harbour in Monasterevin.

One man was arrested and is currently detained at Newbridge Garda Station.
