Gardaí investigating suspected staged road crashes have searched a number of addresses in County Roscommon.
Investigators searched several businesses and domestic premises on the 26th and 27th of February.
It is part of a Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) investigation into fraudulent insurance claims, arising from suspected staged road traffic collisions.
Two people were arrested for breach of work permits and immigration-related offences.
One has since been deported and another is due before the courts.
Meanwhile, some of the businesses searched were also found to have broken employment laws and social protection rules.
Gardaí are now also investigating whether some of the people living had fraudulently entered Ireland by claiming to be EU citizens.
