As children all over Ireland start heading back-to-school, Gardaí are urging parents to take care if posting pictures online.
The Garda Cyber Crime Bureau is warning people to make sure there is no personal information in the photo.
It is advising parents to ensure back-to-school photos do not feature their home door numbers and to turn off location data on their phones before taking the picture.
Parents are also advised to blur any school or team logos on their uniforms as well as any names tags on their bags or schoolbooks.
As schools nationwide begin to reopen this week - lots of proud loved ones will be uploading and posting photos of children in uniform.
