There has been snowfall seen at a number of count centres around the country.
Tipperary and Kilkenny have seen some heavy snowfalls on Monday morning, as counting resumes.
It comes as a status yellow snow-ice warning is in place for the entire country.

Met Éireann is forecasting widespread wintry showers today and tomorrow, with some snowfall accumulations, especially in the west and north.
It is also warning of some disruption to travel, particularly over higher routes.
Overall it will be sold, very windy and wintry today.

A band of sleet and snow will push eastwards across parts of the midlands and southeast of the country.
Elsewhere there will be frequent heavy, squally showers of rain, hail, sleet or snow.
