The Cabinet will hold its final meeting - barring unforeseen circumstances - before polling day next week.
There are no major policy decisions on the agenda but it is expected the Taoiseach will brief Ministers on his recent telephone call with incoming US President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile the hustle for votes continues, with further policy proposals due to be announced this morning.
The Green party will publish its 'charter for children' and People Before Profit will outline plans to show solidarity with the people of Palestine.

The Social Democrats are launching a 'positive neutrality' policy, while Sinn Féin and Fianna Fáil will both outline their plans to help those with disabilities.
Concerns have also been raised about the inaccessibility of some polling stations for disabled people; the Irish Wheelchair Association has labelled it an "an absolute disgrace" that many of their members struggle to get into their local polling station.
