The president of Sinn Fein maintains that the party want to be in government in the South.
Gerry Adams says that he wants to be leading a government of the left.
A recent Sunday Business Post poll saw a drop in support for Sinn Fein of 4 to 20%.

While the same poll saw both Fine Gael and Labour gaining 3 points.
Labour were on 9% - still in low territory, but up three points from December.
Mr Adams says he knows he has a lot of work to do in order to persuade the Irish people.
And he says he does not know if it will happen in the next election.
