Well, it's definitely a quick way of getting from one end of a street to another.

Bristol's Park Street was transformed yesterday by the 'Park and Slide', where 360 lucky people - chosen from almost 100,000 applicants - were given the chance to slide down a temporary 300-foot-long waterslide on lilos. 

The project was organised by artist Luke Jerram, who told BBC "if you look at photographs in the 1900s you see these beautiful empty streets with all the kids playing out. It's an extraordinary thing and all that has been taken away."

"I'm happy to take over a street, and this slide is an architectural intervention really" he added.
