Convicted drug dealer John Gilligan remains in a 'serious but stable condition' in hospital today after being shot in West Dublin last night.
It's believed he was shot a number of times at his brother's house in Greensfort Crescent in Clondalkin at around 7 o'clock yesterday evening while attending a family gathering.
He was rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.

A garda man hunt is underway for two men believed to be involved in the shooting who fled the scene in a car.
Cathal McMahon, Crime Correspondent with the Irish Mirror says the 61 year-old is expected to make a full recovery.
