A 6-year-old girl has been raped in a public toilet in Delhi just days after the brutal sexual assault of a five-year-old in the Indian capital.

The girl was found in a pool of blood after her throat was slit.

The victim is said to be in a stable condition in hospital following surgery.

22 suspects have been rounded up by police.

According to UNICEF, one in three rape victims in India are children.
