Global wedding planning company The Knot Worldwide is to create some 100 new jobs in Galway.
It is to establish an operations centre and create the positions over the next few years.
The project is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.
Led by CEO Tim Chi, The Knot Worldwide delivers wedding marketplaces, websites, planning tools, registry services and more to over 20 million monthly unique visitors in 15 countries.
The new roles will include content writers, community forum support and customer support staff.
The firm has more than 40 years of experience and has helped more than 40 million couples plan their weddings.
It also includes lifestyle brands The Bump for pregnancy and parenting, GigMasters for bringing important celebrations to life with entertainment vendors, Lasting for building healthy and happy marriages and How They Asked for proposal inspiration.
The company has US offices in New York, Washington DC, Connecticut, Texas and Nebraska.
It also has an international presence in Barcelona, Guangzhou, China and Gurgaon, India.
