Gardai investigating burglaries in Dublin have arrested 4 people and recovered suspected stolen goods in Co. Wexford.
It follows an intelligence led operation targeting suspects involved in burglaries in the Blackrock, Dun Laoghaire and general Dublin area.
Gardai from Blackrock and Dun Laoghaire, and local stations supported by the Regional Support Unit, conducted a number of planned searches at residences in Courtown and Wexford Town this morning.
During the course of these searches, house breaking implements, suspected stolen items including jewellery and watches, locksmiths tools, car key grabbers, foreign currency and other items were recovered.
Three men, aged between 20 and 50, and a woman in her thirties, were arrested and are currently detained at Wexford, Enniscorthy and Gorey Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
