The Transport Minister has denied that the government is rigging Dail question time.

It comes as Fianna Fail accused Leo Varadkar of following in Health Minister the footsteps of James Reilly by taking prioritising questions from government backbenchers instead of opposition parties.

Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Transport Timmy Dooley claims Question Time is being "cynically loaded with questions from backbench Deputies to suppress the Government being properly held to account".

"Last week the Minister for Health made a blatant and completely see-through attempt to rig Dáil Question Time so as to exclude the opposition. This week Minister Varadkar is doing likewise" Deputy Dooley commented.

But Minister Varadkar was not having any of it and dismissed the claims.
